Multiple animals have died from bird flu at NYC zoos—a tragic reminder of the dangers of captivity. No animal belongs behind bars, whether in a zoo or on a factory farm, where this virus began. It’s time to end animal exploitation, shift away from animal product consumption, and embrace ethical ways to appreciate wildlife, like Wildlife Heritage Areas.
